Groundwork lessons

Groundwork is the key to your equine connection and partnership. At H2H, we focus on a variety of in-hand / unmounted activities that can build your partnership with your equine.

Riding lessons

Our Mounted lessons build upon the foundational groundwork lessons and transition these skills to the saddle and riding.

We offer English and Western disciplines. Both will focus on building skills for long term riding endeavors.

$240 -

Eight - week lesson program

$60 Deposit required - the balance can be paid weekly.

This new program includes the following levels -

Foundation levels 1-6

Progression level 1-3

Long Reining 1-3

These levels are an Introduction to body control maneuvers on the ground with your horse.

Foundation level -

▸Rhythm, relaxation, and freedom of movement are key

▸An elementary attempt at bend and balance is shown

▸Basic acceptance of the aids, partnership

Progression level -

▸Rhythm, relaxation, and freedom of movement are key

▸Balance, Straightness, and Suppleness are developing

▸Horse shows greater acceptance of the aids and less resistance

Long Reining option -

An introduction to Long Reining. Developing driving skills for the horse and handler

▸Rhythm, relaxation and freedom of movement are key

▸An elementary attempt at bend and balance is shown

▸Basic acceptance of the aids, obedience
